Nivetha Kannan

Nivetha Kannan has several years of experience in digital health system implementation, project management, research and event coordination.

Ms. Kannan works with the operations team and the market shaping practice at Results for Development (R4D). She supports the operations team with project management and administrative tasks such as meeting and event coordination, travel and visa assistance. She provides research and analysis support to the market shaping practice for the maternal, child, and neonatal health (MNCH) project to improve access to life saving MNCH health products in sub-Saharan Africa.

Before joining R4D, Ms. Kannan worked in digital health system implementation assisting over 55 employers tailor their employee digital health and wellness experience on the Rally platform. She managed project plans, gathered client requirements with product capability in mind, developed risk mitigation plans and used technical tools to configure and launch the client experience in partnership with engineers, product and experience design teams.

Previously, Ms. Kannan supported refugee populations—primarily children—acclimate to educational and home environments.

Ms. Kannan holds a master’s degree in public health in global health program design, monitoring and evaluation from the George Washington University and a BA in global health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She speaks English, French and Tamil.
