And, while the state government is clearly an important partner, healthcare in India (and I think in most developing countries) for the most part is financed by OOP and provided by the private sector. I don’t see any of the Indian states or Indian institutions listed in your post, and I do hope you will add a few soon. With your formidable capabilities, I hope you will also engage with that “elephant” and see how to “make it dance” even as we wait for the state governments to step up with increased resources.
