I am an old economist (1971 PhD from MIT). I am or was an econometrician who studied with Charlie Kindleberger but have spent my career focused on energy. I am energy editor of the International Economy Magazine. I haver recently directed my attention to the success or failures of autocrats given US elections. This data base is fantastic because it provides a way of measuring an predicting the impact of actions that will occur over the next few years. Happy to share my thoughts.
