Omotayo Willoughby is an international development professional with experience working with civil society organizations and government officials to improve the health and lives of the vulnerable in under-developed countries.
At Results for Development, Ms. Willoughby is a senior program associate working on the Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) Accelerator, which is focused on improving how health systems strengthening is done both locally and globally. In this role, she is working on the country engagement and coaching functions of the HSS Accelerator project.
Before joining R4D, Ms. Willoughby worked with the PSN Foundation, an organization working to eradicate childhood pneumonia and diarrhea in Nigeria. Through capacity-building training, she engaged civil society organizations to advocate to government officials to develop health policies and increase health funding to improve the lives of children.
Ms. Willoughby holds a master of law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law and a bachelor of law degree from Nottingham Trent University, UK. She speaks Yoruba and English.
