Fellow

Judith Mboya is a fellow at Results for Development (R4D). She has worked within R4D’s Mixed Health Systems practice, leveraging a market development approach (MDA) to address systemic barriers that limit private sector participation in health markets. Her work has focused on strengthening public-private engagement and enhancing the private sector’s ability to deliver high-quality, affordable and accessible health information, products and services at scale.

Prior to R4D, Judith led efforts to expand self-care solutions by introducing and scaling user-centered sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) products and technologies. She also contributed to the development of innovative platforms designed to improve women’s access to SRHR information, products and services.

With over 10 years of private sector market experience, Judith has held diverse roles in sales, marketing, commercial strategy and market access within the pharmaceutical industry.

Her expertise spans market shaping, strategic public-private partnerships, program design and management, policy advocacy, and market analytics. She is deeply committed to sustainable and equitable solutions that enhance health product access, service delivery innovation, and whole market approaches for resilient health systems.

Judith holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing an MSc at the University of Oxford.
