Daniel Mahoney (he/him/his) is a finance professional with multiple years of experience in the non-profit sector working with multiple funding agencies, including several US government departments and non-US government entities.
Daniel is a finance officer at Results for Development (R4D) in the grants administration department. He oversees the pre-award, post-award, and closeout financial administration of R4D’s prime agreements.
Before joining R4D, Daniel spent four and a half years working at CRDF Global, a non-profit based in Arlington, VA where he worked in subcontract/subaward management, procurement, and travel-related positions. These roles required expertise in US Government rules and regulations for funding agencies that included the US Department of State, US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and US National Institutes of Health (NIH). Prior to working at CRDF Global, Daniel spent a year teaching English in Hong Kong.
