Claire Knox (she/her) is a recent master of public policy graduate with experience in economic development and data-driven policy, with a focus in low- and middle-income contexts.
At Results for Development (R4D), Ms. Knox is a senior program associate in the market shaping practice. She provides technical and programmatic support to projects working to increase access to maternal, newborn and child health commodities, including multiple micronutrient supplementation.
Before joining R4D, Ms. Knox worked within Tetra Tech’s international development division supporting efforts to increase gender equality and social inclusion in their programs. Prior to that, she worked with the Zambian national government conducting statistical analysis and research on youth employment that was later used to inform the Zambian 2024-2030 National Youth Policy. While there, she also worked on improving coordination between public and private sector actors to improve the sustainability and strength of the Zambian smallholder agriculture industry.
Ms. Knox holds a master of public policy degree with focuses on international development and data analytics from the University of Chicago. She also received a BA in economics and international affairs from the George Washington University. She is a native English speaker and is working to strengthen her Spanish skills.
