The School Action Learning Exchange (SALEX) was a global network that convened education organizations and networks to support schools, school leaders, and teachers in collaboratively generating and using evidence to improve education outcomes. Supported by the Jacobs Foundation and facilitated by Results for Development (R4D), SALEX comprised 22 founding members, including national non-profit organizations, multilateral institutions and global organizations.
This report takes readers on a journey through the key achievements, lessons learned and recommendations from the first two years of the network’s implementation (November 2022 – December 2024). It celebrates SALEX’s key milestones, reflects on the factors that helped or hindered its progress, and offers advice for other education networks.
