Albert Lai has over 20 years of experience in corporate accounting and financial management. He collaborates with project teams to deliver results, while maintaining focus on the overall goal of the organization.
As the senior general ledger manager at Results for Development (R4D), he oversees general accounting structure and processes. He maintains the health of the overall accounting system, and makes sure financial information is available in a timely and accurate manner.
Over his career M. Lai has led different initiatives, including process re-engineering and business expansion, that had major organizational impact. He develops strong relationship with stakeholders and creates the environment to make such achievements possible.
Before joining R4D, Mr. Lai was the head of finance for the Hong Kong office of a major Swedish company. He played an important role in the company’s explosive growth during his tenure.
Mr. Lai holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Heriot-Watt University and a BSc in actuarial science from the University of Kent.
