She is an associate director in the Market Shaping practice at Results for Development (R4D) where she leads projects within the practice’s growing technical portfolio and supports operations and finance functions on the team.

Throughout her career, Amy has worked to strengthen public health and public education systems. Amy’s technical work in global health has spanned immunization, supply chain, data systems, HIV/AIDS programs, essential medicines, malaria and laboratory systems. Before joining R4D, she advised international NGOs on various market shaping and business development projects. She previously oversaw the global vaccine supply chain program at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI)—working to improve vaccine stock availability in 12 countries in sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia and to shape global vaccine supply chain policy. She is particularly proud of expanding CHAI’s partnership with immunization programs in Cameroon, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Lesotho, Sierra Leone and Tanzania.

In previous roles at CHAI, Amy also supported country governments with commodity quantification, forecasting, budgeting and applying for what was at the time the Global Fund’s New Funding Model. Amy’s work at CHAI began in the NGO’s Uganda office, where she advised the National Medical Stores (NMS) and worked to strengthen the country’s public health supply chain. Early in her career, Amy was a chief of staff and a consultant at an education-focused consulting firm that advised public school districts in the United States.

Amy has a BA in sociology from Harvard University. She is a native speaker of English and has intermediate proficiency in French and is pursuing a goal to become fluent.
