Angela Carter is a human resources expert, with 15+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, benefits and compensation administration, HR policy and procedure development and leadership training initiatives. She is well-versed in implementing programs geared toward employee retention and development, and has proven success in handling complex issues and deploying excellent problem solving and innovative resolutions to meet employee and organizational needs.
At Results for Development, Ms. Carter is director of people & culture. She supports human resource functions in the areas of talent acquisition, benefits, HR tools and best practices and procedures. She is passionate about engaging employees by fostering healthy cultures, programs and activities to aid in team building and overall employee retention.
Before joining R4D, Ms. Carter served as a project manager and HR generalist for AMDEX Corporation, where she developed and implemented a corporate responsibility program to reestablish their presence in the community and on social media and strengthen employee engagement. She also designed training curriculums and various other instructional materials to facilitate training for employees to build confidence in their skill sets and increase their overall performance.
Ms. Carter holds a BS in business administration and management from Frostburg State University.
