Audrey McIntyre specializes in global health market shaping. She is an active adviser to R4D’s growing Market Shaping practice as well as a consultant to other global health and private sector organizations.
Previously, Ms. McIntyre worked at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in various positions including as Deputy Director of Access Programs. In this role, she managed the multi-million dollar CHAI-UNITAID ARV Projects, which supplied free medication to pediatric and second-line HIV/AIDS patients in 40+ developing countries and leveraged large-scale purchasing to reduce drug prices by more than 50%. Her experience also includes co-authoring CHAI’s strategy for improving access to health commodities and expanding CHAI’s forecasting and ARV market intelligence capabilities.
Prior to CHAI, Ms. McIntyre worked in the private sector as a management consultant at Bain & Company, where she advised clients in the private equity, financial services, and consumer products/retail industries. She holds bachelors’ degrees in economics and sociology from Brown University.
