Boubacar Diarra is a professional accountant with over 10 years of experience in private, for-profit and non-profit organizations.
As an accounting senior specialist at Results for Development (R4D), Mr. Diarra oversees and manages the billing department, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for services rendered processing invoices in Jamis. He generates milestone reports as necessary and liaises with finance executives to coordinate upcoming payments. Mr. Diarra is responsible for reviewing the monthly expenses reports of R4D’s global offices. He collaborates with cross-functional teams (grants, procurement and programs) to resolve billing issues and provide timely and effective customer support. Mr. Diarra reviews and approves business expense reports, receipts and supporting documents for credit card payments in Concur by making sure that R4D’s travel policies are followed.
Prior to joining to R4D, Mr. Diarra worked at Freedom House as a project accountant where he utilized Deltek Costpoint to reconcile monthly expense reports, petty cash accounts and advance accounts for international offices in Uganda, DRC, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Honduras, Venezuela and several Eurasian countries. He has experience preparing USAID and DOS monthly reports (SF-270) and quarterly financial reports (SF-425) and uploading them into the Payment Management Services (PMS).
Mr. Diarra holds a Master of Science degree in accounting from Strayer University and an Associate of Arts degree in business administration from Montgomery College. He speaks English, French and Bambara.
