IT Help Desk Manager

Dagim Seifu is an IT professional with more than ten years of work experience in systems administration, computer networking, data management, IT support, conducting user training in different IT systems and infrastructure in the US and abroad.

As a IT help desk manager for Results for Development, Mr. Seifu focuses on administering, maintaining and supporting different R4D’s IT infrastructures and systems. His responsibilities include providing end-user technical support on hardware, software, network connectivity, data management, and security and access rights to R4D’s domestic and internationally based employees.

Prior to joining R4D, Mr. Seifu worked for the WAMU 88.5 / NPR radio station, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering different systems/hardware components and applications in order to maintain a reliable system uptime for content delivery platforms and business operations. He also served at the United Nations Development Program, helping to promote and expand the SchoolNet project in Ethiopia.

Mr. Seifu holds a BSc in information systems and an associate degree in education, both from Addis Ababa University. He speaks Amharic and English.
