Deus N. Manyenye is a senior technical advisor for the Frontier Health Markets (FHM) Engage project at Results for Development (R4D). He manages the implementation of the Access to Finance (A2F) component where he manages partnerships with various microfinance and commercial banks, health associations, and health equipment and pharmaceutical suppliers.
Mr. Manyenye has extensive experience in commercial banking, finance, health finance and in the banking sector overall. He has led a number of consulting projects including the USAID SHOPS Plus project, as a senior program manager for Banyan Global and as senior management in various banks and financial institutions including Barclays, Standard Chartered and International Bank of Malaysia. He also has wholesale lending experience from working for five years as country director for Oikocredit, an international wholesale lending company based in the Netherlands.
Mr. Manyenye holds an MBA from Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI), a BA in economics from Aligarh Muslim University, PGDBA from the Institute of Health Care Management-India and is now a final year law student at TUMAINI University.
