Golder Mmari is a senior associate of program operations at Results for Development (R4D), where she plays a pivotal role in managing the operational needs of R4D’s Tanzania office. Her responsibilities encompass preparing INGO annual compliance reports, overseeing the annual financial audit, managing and tracking funds allocated to each project, and ensuring each project is implemented within the approved budget. Additionally, she supports the Tanzania office and collaborates with R4D’s finance, human resources, and operations teams in Washington, DC, to enhance and streamline country office systems and processes.
With 10 years of experience in program operations, Ms. Mmari has worked with multiple international organizations such as PATH and IntraHealth International. She has a strong interest in administration, human resources, finance and project management.
In her previous roles, Ms. Mmari was instrumental in establishing field offices and implementing efficient logistics systems across various regions in Tanzania. She has coordinated between global and country offices to align organizational procurement policies with local needs and introduced electronic filing and tracking systems to manage country operations, including daily expense tracking and staff record management.
Ms. Mmari holds a BA in public relations and advertising from the University of Dar es Salaam. She is currently pursuing an MBA in corporate management and is in her final year. She is a native Swahili speaker and is also fluent in English.
