Joseph Eni is a supply chain professional with over 10 years of experience in procurement, subcontracting and operations in international humanitarian and development organizations supporting various projects across Africa. He has experience working with many different projects funded by different donors.
Joseph is the senior procurement and subcontracts officer at Results for Development (R4D). He is based in Nairobi Kenya where he executes procurement and subcontract needs, advises teams on pre and post award contract approaches as well as interpreting award flow downs applicable to procurement and subcontracting actions. He offers procurement and subcontracting support across all the R4D programs.
Before joining R4D, Joseph worked with Research Triangle Institute (RTI) as a procurement and subcontracts specialist. Prior to that, Joseph worked with Tetratech international development supporting 12 African countries. He also worked with Christoffel Blinden Mission as a regional procurement and administration officer supporting programs in 5 African countries and Samaritan’s Purse international relief as a procurement officer supporting projects in war stricken South Sudan.
Joseph holds an MSC in procurement, logistics and supply chain management from the University of Salford, a degree in commerce-management from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a post graduate diploma in supply chain from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing UK, a diploma, advanced certificate and a lower certificate in procurement and supplies management from the Management University of Africa. He also holds certificates in USAID rules and regulations, USAID grants and cooperative agreements and USAID subaward management. He is a native speaker of Swahili.
