Kippy Joseph brings 25 years of professional experience in community and global development and philanthropy. She has a keen understanding of innovation as a catalyst for sustainable positive change, and a strong commitment to gender equality. Ms. Joseph is the capacity development project lead for the International Development Innovation Alliance (IDIA) and serves as the training director for IDIA’s Managing Innovation for Impact.
Ms. Joseph’s career includes years of service at The Rockefeller Foundation, where she initiated their global fellowship program on social innovation and resilience and co-designed the International Development Innovation Alliance (IDIA). Ms. Joseph also currently serves as the senior advisor on gender to the Global Innovation Fund, a social investment fund seeded by USAID, Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and Global Affairs Canada.
Ms. Joseph has a master’s degree in social organizational psychology from Columbia University, a graduate diploma in systems theory & consultation from Birbeck, University of London, and bachelor’s degree in public policy from Brown University.
