Oluwatomisin (Tomi) Oyedele is an international education professional with experience in early childhood development (ECD), education technology, and civic and community engagement. As a program associate on the global education team at Results for Development (R4D), Tomi provides technical and programmatic support to the Strengthening Primary Health Care to Promote Young Children’s Development project. She also works on the EdTech Hub’s Helpdesk, providing short-term technical assistance to support education decision-makers in making informed decisions about the use of technology in education, and contributes to a Data for Nutrition project.
Before her current role, Tomi interned with R4D’s Education and Nutrition teams. She also worked as a research assistant in ECD, conducting qualitative research on sustainable financing for ECD and improving the working conditions of early childhood workers. Prior to this, she interned at Roducate, an education technology organization in Lagos, Nigeria.
Tomi holds a master’s degree in international educational development & learning sciences and technologies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education, as well as a BA in philosophy, politics and economics from UPenn’s College of Arts of Sciences.
