Stanley Ezenwa has expertise in the health financing, health program design, health system strengthening development and management and has worked with non-governmental organizations responsible for strengthening health systems in west Africa.
Mr. Ezenwa is a program associate at Results for Development (R4D) for projects under R4D’s health financing program in Nigeria. In this role, he coordinates with health agencies of the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF), partners and other stakeholders; and provides technical and administrative assistance in planning conferences, retreats and meetings.
Mr. Ezenwa’s career is focused on expanding health coverage to low-income populations. As an intern at the national primary health care development agency in Nigeria, he helped develop capacity-building modules and tools for BHCPF and provided technical and administrative support to mobile teams on field missions, including administering M&E questionnaires.
Prior to joining R4D, Mr. Ezenwa was an independent verification agent (IVA) for the Nigeria State Health Investment Project (NSHIP), where he implemented quality and quantity verification and counter verification for primary health care centers in northeastern Nigeria (Bornu, Yobe, Adamawa and Bauchi).
Mr. Ezenwa holds a BS degree in Physiology from the Anambra State University in Nigeria. He is a native speaker of Igbo and speaks fluent English.
