Tania Mathurin has over five years of experience working on program management, capacity building, and program implementation. As the francophone senior program officer under the Health System Strengthening Accelerator, she manages activities in Cote d’Ivoire, supporting planning and implementation of the workplan, and managing partner relationships.
Before joining R4D, Ms. Mathurin worked under a results-based financing project in Haiti with the World Bank. She was instrumental in the design and implementation of the project, conducting costing and projection analyses and working with the government on corrective actions to enhance results. She previously worked in Haiti with a nutrition program, implementing interventions in the prevention and treatment of malnutrition. She also previously consulted with the Millennium Challenge Corporation in Senegal to evaluate project sustainability and collaborated on program management with the civil society in Rwanda while working for UNDP.
Ms. Mathurin received her BA in political science from the University of Notre Dame and her master’s in public affairs from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School. She speaks fluent English, French, and Haitian Creole and is conversational in Spanish.
