Quality-Assured Supplier List for Maternal, Newborn, Child Health & Nutrition (MNCH+N) Products

Access to quality-assured commodities is a significant challenge in low-resource settings. Many actors, including governments, donors and implementing partners, are interested in improving the quality of products on the market. But having accurate market data on which suppliers are quality-assured — including products approved by the WHO Pre-qualification mechanism or a WHO Listed Authority (WLA) — is very difficult. Information about product approvals is theoretically available, but it is scattered across more than 35 individual websites and databases, making it time-consuming and difficult to access.

As part of our maternal, newborn, child, health and nutrition (MNCH-N) market assessment, R4D developed a Quality-Assured Supplier List for priority MNCH-N products. We’ve compiled this data into a downloadable Excel spreadsheet, available through the button above.

Our goal is to support the global community in strengthening access to quality-assured products — and that starts with improving market intelligence. By publishing this supplier database, we aim to make it easier for market actors to easily access critical information on quality.
